Pat Scott, PT earned her BS degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska in 1978. She worked in rehabilitation in Santa Rosa as a staff PT and later as Assistant Director of PT for 5 years. She worked as the manager of Physical Therapy at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek until 1987 when she opened PT Associates in San Ramon with a colleague. In 2013 Pat left PT Associates of San Ramon and opened Pat Scott Physical Therapy.
With over 30 years of experience Pat has become and is considered to be one of the top physical therapists in the bay area. Physicians often rely upon her for assistance and evaluation in complex and multifaceted cases. Pat draws upon numerous techniques when crafting her personalized treatment plans including but not limited to: craniosacral therapy, myofascial release and muscle energy. Pat has worked with osteopathic physicians for several decades and has also been trained in counterstrain.
Additional services Pat provides include orthotic fabrication, gait analysis and neurological diagnosis, including NDT certification for adults. Vertigo, dizziness and balance issues have always intrigued Pat and she continues to study and work with patients who experience these symptoms.
Outside of the clinic Pat is involved with theater, acting and assisting her son in his endeavors and occasionally participating herself! She enjoys walking and swimming.
Pat is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
